The DM242 is a true successor to our bestselling DM240 and DM241 monitors featuring 20% higher contrast than the DM240 and 63% higher contrast than the DM241. With a 10bit panel, the ability to warmup and stabilize almost instantaneously, and a durable all metal chassis the DM242 is well suited to fast-paced and color-critical applications in production, post-production, and broadcast environments.

Its specialized toolset is incredibly well suited for dynamic on set color management applications as well as the most demanding post production environments. This unit is equipped with 3G/Dual-Link/HD/SD-SDI, DVI-D, and Display Port Inputs. The DM242 offers support for virtually any signal format including advanced 12-bit, 4:4:4, and XYZ signal formats. What sets the DM242 apart from other monitors are its 3rd generation Color Fidelity Engine (CFE3), dedicated 2nd screen outputs, Image Flip, Display Port to SDI cross conversion, and zero-delay processing mode.
